Congratulations to local gospel radio station W107.1 on its stellar achievement in winning the 2021 Spin award for Gospel Station of the year. We would like to extend our well wishes to the entire team and wish you great success in all future endeavors.

W107.1 celebrated its ninth anniversary just last week.

The award comes on the heels of the passing of founder and Programme Director Jamie Thomas whose work in gospel extended far beyond radio and touched the lives of many. It was pleasure to see his legacy commemorated by the organizers of the awards.

W107.1 was nominated among international radio stations including those in Canada and the United Kingdom.

The Spin Awards – now in its fourth year – is an Atlanta, US-based award show that seeks to place the focus on those that work behind the scenes in the Gospel music industry, from record labels to radio stations, music executives and others that help ‘Spin’ the music.

W107.1 and its current Programme Director Junior Lett  are long standing members  of the One Caribbean Media network.
