Professor Persad has offered MATT the university's assistance in providing academic support and assistance in technical matters.

The distribution has been sent to more than 200 journalists, both those employed by media houses and those who freelance for them.
Two of the new executive members are journalists working in Tobago and the third is a news photographer, in keeping with the MATT executive’s pursuit of inclusion across all practicing arms of local journalism.
MATT has no jurisdiction over individual newsrooms and their reporters, who are accountable to their editors and respective media houses.
The current members of the executive will work to strengthen its governance capacity and ready ourselves to report on the work of our first quarter.
